Door Alarm Systems
Eastern Fire Ltd, in conjunction with a local child care home, has designed and developed a unique door alarm system. This comprises of a conventional system interlinked with a double action door alarm, which requires two separate doors to be opened before an alarm is raised.
Section One
A conventional door alarm system designed to monitor fire exit doors. As soon as the door is opened, the alarm panel is activated and indicates which door has been opened.
Section Two
Double action door alarm designed to protect bedrooms and internal corridors.
Example 1
When a bedroom door is opened, the panel indicates a door has been opened. If the person returns to their room, the control panel resets. Failure of return to their room, the panel would alarm after a preset time.
Example 2
When a person leaves their room, and then opens another monitored door, the control panel indicates the doors that have been opened and sounds an alarm.
