- Calls can be made from individual rooms, WCs, communal areas etc. by simply pressing a button or cord.
- Calls can be made by clients utilising a personal belt or necklace
- The Control Panel receives the call and displays the room number or identity of the remote user
- The call is registered on the main panel and can be transmitted to remote pagers
- The call will remain active until attended by a member of staff
Room units can include
- A large call button, a push lead or pull cord
- Unanswered calls can step up the response level
- An audible tone and display confirms to the client that the call has been made
Optional Equipment
- A paging transmitter can be interfaced with the Control Panel to send calls to Pagers carried by members of staff
- Remote activators can be issued to staff members. These items will allow staff members activate a 'panic' facility. Useful where staff may be exposed to violent patients.
- On line printer - logs all calls received by the Control Panel. The printout shows time, date and level of call and when it was actioned.
- Door contact unit - magnetic contacts can be fitted to doors or windows and then connected to the control unit. When the protected window or door is opened a signal is sent to the Control Panel. This is ideal for low level internal security.
